WPA SCBWI Event: Q&A and More with Kate Dopirak

Updated: Apr 24, 2020

I had the BEST time with the smart, thoughtful people who joined me for a children’s book talk this week.

We laughed.

We learned.

We hugged.

We promised that what happens in the Panera meeting room, stays in the Panera meeeting room. Ha! No seriously. We did.

I came home newly inspired, ready to tackle lovey-dove rhyme like never before. Then I saw Pat Lewis tweeted his notes from our event:

I could barely control myself. His talent, right?!?

No wonder I had such a great morning. Creative energy was practically bouncing off those meeting room walls! Thanks, Pat. And thanks to everyone who shared their time with me.
